The design brief necessitated my own conception of all layout, content, and imagery. Considerations for this booklet: how to chunk information, creating a sense of flow from page to page, and an overall cohesive look and feel.
Choosing “ugly” design for this project afforded me a lot of wiggle room when making design decisions–layout, imagery, color choice, typography, etc., while also having the constraints of comprehension and legibility. Overall, this project was so fun and really allowed me to color outside the lines, figuratively and literally.
